2017 Jeep® Renegade Adds Two New Trims

2017 will be a big year for the Jeep® brand and especially for the 2017 Jeep Renegade. FCA US LLC will be debuting two new special edition trims: The Jeep Renegade Desert Hawk® and Jeep Renegade Altitude. The pending releases have been confirmed by Jeep spokesman Mike Manley.

As suggested in its name, the Jeep Renegade Desert Hawk will feature desert-inspired designs. This includes 17-inch black wheels, rock rails, and exclusive rear and hood body panel decals. The interior is given a similar treatment with black leather seats, all-weather floor mats, and Light Frost accents and stitching. Like the Jeep Renegade Trailhawk®, it will have the same best-in-class 4x4 capability. The compact SUV will also be available in a Mojave Sand color exterior, an exclusive for the Desert Hawk trim.

The other special edition trim is the Jeep Renegade Altitude. The Altitude trim is already a staple among other Jeep models. The Jeep Renegade Altitude makes excellent use of a black finish. This includes Gloss Black accents for the exterior and 18-inch wheels. The tail lamp rings, grille rings, and rear and front badges will also be adorned in black coating. The blacked-out theme spills over to the interior. The premium cloth seats are graced in black. For an added luxury appearance, touch points like the door handles and shifter knob are given metal diamond accents. Buyers will get to choose between a 1.4-liter MultiAir® Turbo engine and a 2.4-liter Tigershark® engine. The former is only available in a six-speed manual transmission.

The 2017 Jeep Renegade is already available at Antioch Chrysler Jeep Dodge. Please stop by and speak with a Jeep dealer near San Francisco, CA, to learn more about the new Jeep Renegade trims and their availability.
